  1. This poor boy was failed on all levels, his parents, the school, the hospital, this is so wrong on all levels,I’ve been in pain since I heard this story, just sad 😢😢

  2. This is just disheartening,as a mother,I just feel the pains this family must be going through, how did this happen?where are the adults in the school?who protects this kids, this is wrong on all levels, and to just hear that the perpetrators haven’t been picked up is even more painful. How can there not be laws to protect children…..this is a shame on the Nigerian school system, this should not continue to happen,so painful

  3. I remember when I was in boarding school, the dormitory got burnt down because some seniors were putting hot coals on a junior girl's back. When the house mistress came in to make sure all of the students had gone to classes. They all ran away and hid the coals without quenching it properly.
That how the whole hostel got burnt down. It was then that the school authorities got serious about the bullying in school. That lasted less than a year, before things went back to the status quo.

  4. The culpraits were most likely not thought bullying by their parents. Let's be honest, when we were in school, the evil bullying we learned was not thought to us by our parents.
Our seniors seriously wicked and bullied us when we were juniors and we endured it, looking forward to doing the same things to juniors when we later became seniors. And most of the juniors (victims of bullying) whe they later became seniors became the perpetrators of bullying, and so the circle of misery and wickedness continues.
Parents also know that their children are being bullied and majority of them are okay with it. Let's be honest some parents even send their children to boarding schools for the purpose of them getting bullied, they will say they want to toughen the child up or teach him lesson or how to behave and be strong.
This individual school is not the problem, we have s culture of seniors bullying juniors in our schools especially boarding school. Even if this school shutdown, a similar incident will still happen with another student in another school. We need to solve this problem from the root and kill this culture of bullying in schools that is being perpetuated in the name of respect, discipline and seniority.

  5. Remove the child and pick a better school. Simple! That's how schools should evolve. Those that don't measure up will empty.
Thinking you can march into school and make noise is precisely why the child, WHO KNOWS BETTER THAN YOU IN THIS SITUATION, is afraid to take you into their confidence. They know that gangs retaliate, and all your antiquated "remedies" only spell more danger.

  6. Money talk bullshit walk.
Murder is not supposed to be a move from one school to the next.
Those people involved with this murder case will send children to another school 🏫 where their attacks will continue until adulthood.
    Guess what?
I believe strongly that those monsters video taped the whole incident .

  7. story of Nigeria. anybody can open a school. who is responsible for inspecting these schools?. meanwhile no reaction from the governor, senators, president. The children of that country are beign destroyed.

  8. I wish I was able to watch the live. The 2nd lady that called said that her dad would drive to the school to check in on her daily. My question is why leave her at boarding school in the first place? If you can make that journey to see her daily why not just put her in day school and bring her home at the end of the school day? I was having this same conversation with my mum the other day because what is the obsession with Nigerians and boarding school…. is it 24 hour work that these parents are working? I could not and would not ever put my child in a position where my eyes cannot see them EVERYDAY… and then these children will be telling their parents about bullying and they will send them back WHY. That is why I rate Don Davis' mum because she removed her son straight away and went to war with that better life school. Nigerian parents need to do better…. keep your children at home and parent them!!!!!

  9. The monsters who committed this crimes and their coward parents who will not take responsibility should all be arrested for life as well as the staff and medical staff in the schoo😡😡😤l. How heartbreaking this story is… I can't even watch it till the end.. May young Sylvester R.I.P 🙏🏿🙏🏿💔

  10. The Parent Should have reported the Case to the Police and also threaten the School that if anything happens to the boy he will get the Principal and all the. Staff arrested because the Son already told him those boys would kill him for telling the Parent the first time

  11. I went to a Boarding School in the 70's. The Principal was a Christian and he hired House Master & House mistress who were Christians. We did not leave the School to attend Church Service outside , the Principal was the one Conducting the Services. The were relating with one another as Siblings even though we all came from different part of Nigeria. It is very Sad that this young man with a very bright future and great Dream was Killed by Useless heartless Boys. If I were the Parents I would fight hard to make sure the School is Closed down parmanently

  12. Boarding schools have their merits and demerits. Bullying is not peculiar to boarding schools. Bullying is everywhere including our homes, day schools, our streets etc. I went to a boarding school in Lagos in the 70s, was there bullying? There was bullying and I was bullied and I reported to the school principal as a first year student each time. The principal acted immediately and took measures to minimise incidences of bullying in the school. The seniors who bullied me were punished immediately. The principal encouraged the juniors to report all cases of bullying by creating an enabling environment that makes reporting of incidences of bullying easier. What is to be done is minimizing the incidence of bullying to the minimum as bullying cannot be eliminated. Incidences of bullying should be promptly investigated throughly and any one found wanting be appropriately sanctioned. Bullying is encouraged when the perpetrators go unpunished. Bullies will be discouraged if they know they will be found out and punished and the bullied will be encouraged to speak up if the school authority acts on their complaints. The school authority not only failed in their responsibilities but condoned these activities and failed to attend to the little boy by taking him to the hospital for proper medical care but told lies to the parents to cover the damages suffered by their ward. I only blame the parents for sending their ward to a school they cannot reach physically at short notice.
