  1. I love your home! I liked your approach to the graphite wall, applying it as a wash. The most inventive wall treatment I did was inadvertent – I had some white paint, which I wanted to add a colour to, but the hardware shop was shut, so I grabbed some food colouring from the supermarket, and added it in – the colours would change as the sun went across the wall and warmed it. 🙃

  2. A very beautiful and stunning home, yet homely and welcoming. I'm crushing on all that colour❤🩷💜🩵💙💚💛🧡. My own home is very colourful too. I could move in here straight away and change nothing, just love it. I'm always painting and changing stuff too.😊

  3. All those women who have bought into the 'grey trend' take note – THIS is what a real home should look like! And a note to Homeworthy: PLEASE go back when Annie's bedroom and bathroom have been refurbished (I can't wait!!). What a lovely woman.

  4. Nice woman – but interior looks over-stuffed & confusing. Lots of average-quality items. They overpower the fine Eric Ravilious painting, for example.

  5. yes it is overpowering, what a blOOdy mess it is, shows a cluttered mind – we are into minimalism now Annie, decluttering, Zen, Japanese vibe, you are way behind the curve, very elderly Oxford,
    very tired

  6. A bit too much popping colour and pattern for my taste. But I did really love the earthy pink in the entryway. And she is a lovely, artistic lady.
She has some really beautiful old paintings, and interesting decorative objects.
The "Tattoo urn" was pretty, and the the old carved wooden doors were full of character
    – I love the Rococo screen in her blue room!
I'd call her style "Artistic Colourful Maximalism".

  7. This lady is so endearing and heartwarming! Her attitude is also so liberating! I love her freedom to always be moving and changing things. Her idea of letting things be a bit jarring and with a little "frisson" is wonderful !

  8. Loved this tour! So fun. Love the pink hall, the blue walls. So much, each room had things to love. A true and inspiring creative soul. I shared ideas with friends. Including the awesome painted piano! Happy creating Annie! 🙂

  9. Reminds me of my beloved grandmother, who was an eclectic artist and designer/architect, who was also incredibly chic and experimental and well before her time.
