i make mine a little different, but very similar. I take the dough/batter and I bake it in a sheet and cut it into square slices. I keep it over a week and toast the slices in a pan before eating. I like to add honey to mine alongside sugar.

I made these and used an air fryer as I didn't have any oil. They turned out a bit dry, but very tasty!
