Homes at risk of being 'swallowed' in Kinshasa – BBC Africa
Gully erosion is an extreme form of soil erosion caused by water, which experts have told the BBC is advancing at a worrying speed. It can cause giant ravines to open up – with sometimes devastating consequences. Cities from Latin America to Africa have been torn apart and their communities destroyed. In 2022, 60 people in Kinshasa were…

YAH Is Angry and Judgment is being fulfilled by Yah's Hand so our people must repent now and ask the Most High Yah for forgiveness HalleluYah.
Looks like the grand canyon
lets talk about littering. Maybe Mother Nature is Upset of the Plastic Dumping Everywhere
Humans love of money over everything else has caused this all over the world. The oceans are dying too..I feel it’s beyond the tipping point and may be too late.
exactly. the cause of the climatedisasters are the destroyed forests. now amazonforests has lost its ability to produce oxygen. it has surpassed its tipping point last june. due to human cutting of trees for timberindustry and grazinglands for cows, it has no power any more to slow down the winds, or to bring the water from the clouds in the ground.nor to shadow cool down and bring humidity to air and ground. when forest is not dense anymore, there are gaps that are not protected by trees, burnt with the sun, the forest is now weakened and catches fire easily.
This is just so heartbreaking,if possible they must move this is clearly deadly area 😔😔.
Repent for all your sins and the disobedience of your people. Deuteronomy 28:68
The climate is changing. Nothing will stop that from happening. "Climate Change" is a human blaming, money making, load of bologna. I don't disagree that humans contribute. However, to be so arrogant as to think that we can control the weather one way or the other is insane. Not buying it.
Its only me & you😢😢😢😢😢
Shame, shame… Our leadership who ever it is. We only ve one African continent.
What we see with natures destruction,is nothing,to whats coming.
Only the immutable laws of the universe, holds power, not humans race, religions, nor mans power.
Greedy rich people cutting down trees causing the others to suffer 😢
🙏
People must take action to prevent climate change…climate change is major issues but there is a lack of awareness of it …
Less concrete more green spaces have bigger yards that don't get water every day or 4 times a week got it.

That's not far from house!
I can see those erosion from house.
I also live in risk zone but the engineer reinforce the ground structure of our street.
Oh my GOD HAVE MERCY.To lose everything you have is soo difficult.
WHAT COMMON WITH ALL THESE PLAYING THEY TURN THE PLACES INTO A DUMP
bizarre
Neo imperialism? China?
Maybe you deserve it with so much waste there that you just throw there in nature,
And also you have a c*rr*pt government
Because you should always check how the ground is before you build something on it,
This have nothing to do with climate change,
It is just Poor Decisions of the people that live their they do not even know their own soil,
Because this is what you will get i know what i am talking about Because this happens alot in African Country's,
It is just poor infrastructures poor decisions and the Covernments they don't care,
It nothing to do with erosion,
Even a normal person can see that it is just rocks and sand with a little bit of earth on top of it so,
So this have nothing to do with climate change it's just to much human activities over there,
And yes the ground will collapse of to much rain fall to much cares or heavy machines driving over and too much shock waves of building homes and buildings there that have also a big impact to the soil there,
And anyone who works in construction who makes cities and houses into buildings and villages knows d**mn well what I'm talking about,
So it have nothing to do with climate change or what so ever.
I have a small gully which begins right beside my house, but it is heavily vegetated and I have a compost heap at the head of it. It doesn't change, in spite of heavy rainfall. Congo can perhaps tax mining companies to solve these immediate problems, as well as the longer term solutions of tree planting.
The earth has enough of the industrial destruction of a her vegetation. She said enough.
