History of Botswana | The Tswana People | African History


Focusing on the history of Botswana. The history of the Tswana people started around 600 AD with Bantu-speaking tribes that migrated towards Southern Africa. They were mainly farmers and herders that lived in tribal enclaves. The name of the country means “Land of the Tswana” which refers to the majority ethnic group in Botswana.

  1. How is the traditional African thumb piano a version of a Chinese stringed instrument. This makes no sense at all and it's kind of insulting because it's well known that the thumb piano is of African origins.

  3. Hi. If you're going to talk about a culture that is not yours, atleast get the pronunciation of names of; people, places and etc right, otherwise it's confusing and a little insulting. Just the mispronunciation alone can throw one off and take away from whatever you're saying. It doesn't sound like you made much effort at all.
