  1. North Indian people are not are original/authentic hindus. North indians are mix of middle east/European. Tamil calendar founders were great astronomers…so matches with scientist finding.

  2. I don’t care what african and european countries calendar says, i am getting confused every year because i am buying from shop that we use to use in india africa and uk but majority people using free form swaminarayan temple, and thet showing wrong then vaisnav calendar.

  3. It’s not hard for educated Hindus, we answered this question in Canada 30 years ago. Diwali is always on Amavasya Night, there’s no confusion except people’s mental laziness and Hindus not knowing the bases of their practices.

  4. Ah! The gregorian calendar based on which people celebrate New Year on the first day of the 11th month of the year. The words October November and December come from अष्टं (Ashta meaning eight), नवं (Nava meaning nine) and दशं (Dasham meaning ten). So Jan is actually the 11th month, and the last 12th month is Feb whose days are adjusted to 28/29. And then comes March during which period Hindus celebrate their new year.

  7. China is responsible for diwali. Invented paper so we can call Rahu ketu Surya Chandrma planet and do calculation and find date celebrate diwali. After this they invented crackers in 12 century so we can enjoy craker. Now they give mobile even to poor people so they can share greetings of diwali.
