  1. In memory of Scruffy……

Scruffy , I miss you. You where my companion on so many adventures. Eagerly filling the role of chief of security, It was an honor to be my chosen.

Slept Up-top big mother, Ben Mc duhie.

  2. Hi Budd, I honestly am obsessed with your overlanding vids and trips. I myself have decided to build my Amarok for overlanding too. My first trip in July doing the Highlands via Lesotho . Il be driving from jhb. Was hoping by now you would posted a video of you going to Lesotho but I guess the passport saga spoiled it lol hoping you can share soon. I've already watched all your videos. But now I struggle with the go gps app I dnt know if u can share a link I can't seem to get it. It's quite a great tool. Hope u post the rest of the 5 county trip soon

  4. Matt, just love your footage and the way you present it to all of us. Moerse missing my home country now. There is many beautiful places in the world but please remember South Africa might have many faults etc. but its quality of adventure and outdoor activities still needs to be match in my opinion, coming from a lost South African in a foreign country! Greetings to both of you!

  5. Awesum video, Thank you. Feeling a bit tearful, I really miss going far from the madding crowd, camping and a rough road or two. Last trip being about 5 yrs ago, into Die Hel in my trusty Mahindra Scorpio (no 4×4) and needing to do some serious water crossings after a hectic storm during the night. What a rush, and me driving about 7 or 8 months after breaking both arms, felt like Wonder Woman, until I passed a little house at the bottom with an old Fiat Uno (or was it a Mazda 323 ) parked in the drive way 😄

  6. Brilliant adventure/overland/travel video. I did a trip on exactly these passes, around and into Lesotho via the Ongeluksnek Pass. Your video does more than justice to this part of the world… Great camera work and a great showcase of one of the beauties SA has to offer. Great stuff!!

  7. I am thrilled to have come across your site and cannot thank you enough for your incredible narrative and photography, both world class. We tend to forget that despite our country's many challenges, we actually live in paradise, we just have to get out there and into it. You help us all do that from our homes. Can't wait to watch more of your travel offerings. Take care, both of you and be safe out there.

  8. It was always my dream to travel the backroads of the country, but I never had the vehicle to do it, and now I don't have the money. But through your camera, my dream is being realized. If you want me or not, I am a forever passenger in your bakkie. Thank you!

  9. As a boy we lived in Aliwal-north, I used to accompany my dad on his early Sunday morning paper run. We would start i Aliwal-north, then head to Lady Grey ,Barkley-east Rhodes ,Elloit,Mclear,Dordrecht ,Jamestown and back to Aliwal in time for lunch,in order to do that my dad usually drove over the high graval passes to cut km,s of his journey….He did those deliveries in a 1400 bakkie ,now you need a 4×4 to traval those passes…..

  10. Incredible coverage of our beautiful country! Super inspiring stuff and great to see people are getting out there and seeing what South Africa has to offer. Looking forward to seeing more from your series!

  11. How does Tiffendal compare with Sani pass? I did Tiffendal and Lundean in a Nissan NP200 with out 4×4 but was too scared to do Sani. Best to do all the above in mid August if you want snow
