The colonial strategy aimed to separate African culture from Christianity. However, the ancient Israelites developed their faith in Africa, particularly in Egypt and Ethiopia, for over 400 years, during which they were influenced by African culture. Additionally, the honouring of Ancestors is a recurring theme in the Bible, where figures such as Abraham performed animal sacrifices. It is essential to decolonise colonial interpretations to better integrate culture and spirituality.
