Heavy rains cause dam burst in Chikankata

A dam has burst following a heavy downpour experienced in Chikankata district resulting in traffic disruption on the Great North Road in the area.
Southern Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA says the dam, at a private farm, burst due to the heavy rains making motorists stranded following the flooding of the roads.
