Yeah it’s normal for doctors to leave the room sometimes probably to check something with the chemist 👨🔬
I guess you are experiencing heat rush, you have Ghanaian blood so you will acclimatise later on.

about the doctor leaving yourself and your mum for a couple of minutes, it is normal lol i guess he was getting advice from his colleagues idk but nothing to worry about
about asking doctors questions in the uk ughhh i meannn. they don’t even explain the test results (nhs) but i have experienced that too in ghana so i guess some doctors are just ughhhh
