  2. Omg 😳 this is what happened to me, I felt sick and my husband rushed me to a hospital and the nursing staff was rude. The triage nurse was even worse. She pushed me back into the chair 🪑 so she could check my temperature 🤒 she calm down a bit when she saw my face and my attitude, it was on 10,000! They were so nonchalant. The doctors was more concerned and gentle and soft spoken. I had to go back to see the doctor again and low and behold the same triage nurse, but she was more nicer the second time. I was prepared and ready for her to touch me the way she did last time. Whew 😅 Chy, my apologies for the rant up in the comments, but I had a flashback.

  3. In the US the hospital can not refuse u services. Money or not. They will send a bill in the mail. It's against the law to turn away a patient at the local hospitals. **let me clarify.* they can not turn you away at the Emergency Room

  4. I agree with you that the health care system in Ghana needs some improvements. When I had my clinical rotation at Accra Regional hospital the nurses were just lazy and rude, I sometimes had to go out of my way to do your work for them. The doctors I worked with were very nice and always took their time with patients. The cost of health care is high sometimes so it's advisable to to get health insurance.

  5. No the U.S does not hold you hostage if you don't pay. They simply bill you. Many people have free health care from the government. The U.S just does not give free health care to those that can afford to pay into the system. If it was all free the system loses quality. Anybody that does not have a job can get help with health care. They just don't wave the banner about it. google free health care in the U.S. Free healthcare programs. Most people are so not aware. It's really nuts. I know so many people That have had serious operations and all they had to pay for is 5 dollars a day for television with cable. it's crazy that people don't check into it before they speak. Americans give out much stuff. They believe in charity before socialism. Socialism limits a person growth in profit and growth of wealth. So Americans don't want it. And Americans don't trust the government to be fair in dealing with black and brown people. White people will get great benefits from it. Black and brown people will be put on waiting list for operations that will lead them to their death. And America is known for using black and brown people for research. Millions have died because of this. 5000 black women in North and south carolina deliberately made sterile, unable to have children without even knowing what was done to them by clinics and hospitals. There are countless stories of this. The history of America is a hateful, racist one. It't the same for the UK and other white nations but the history of slavery is not there so maybe it's a little better. Maybe things will change.
