Harry's Garage Moroccan Adventure bike special part1, riding a 450km Dakar stage
Riding my classic Dakar bikes on a proper Paris-Dakar stage in the Sahara Desert has been on my bucket list for years. A few weeks ago, Thanks to Desert Rose Racing, I finally got to do it..

what camera and microphone are you using?
Very informative thanks
Greetings from Aus, Harry.
As a relative newcomer to your channel, im working my way through your back catalogue and (as a GS rider) thoroughly enjoying the biking videos, Harry.
The old footage is a lot shakier than the newer stuff. Says a lot for the improvements in action camera technology in the last few years.
Great video! Thanks for sharing, Harry.

Harry, You are a legend! Cheers from Argentina! đđŧđ¯
RIDING IN THICK SOFT SAND IS NO JOKE – like he said get the momentum and hang on
Harry your a a star in a not so reasonably priced car and bike lol đ
Cavolo accelera..
As an Aussie who rides on all different terrain, this is possibly the lamest, slowest ride Iâve ever seen – these wimps are shameless posers – their lame effort on sand was hilariously unskilled – keep on the gas and your weight back

Great stuff, so much water! Always a tricky balance finding bike that is light enough off road but can do the tarmac as well. For me a 690/701 does it though usually I'm on a 400 đ
Makes you wish your father should have worked harder. What a life. What bikes.
It rained when I was in the middle of the Sahara as well!

After watching your latest video a couple of days ago, I can see now why you have so much love for your Cagiva Harry. What an experience you had in this video.
How many Brits it takes to get a bike out of mud? Great adventure!
A chap that I worked with back at the time the Yamaha Tenere 750 was first launched won a competition run by Yamaha to take his bike and follow the PD route, possibly the race itself (my memory is a bit fuzzy on this bit – was about 30years ago). He had an amazing experience
Wow….its not easy to provide commentary while riding a stage of the Dakar on a bike…
Amazing!!! I have no words.
19:00 – 'I would help chaps but I need to film'
Harry you are a legend what a brilliant trip
When you said donât do this alone embarrassed me a bit See my 5 min video on my channel
Big bikes are a amazing BUT in those conditions the man the street can not ride them. You need professional racer skills
Thanks Harry love the channel
I remember taking my bike about 5 miles away from my houses on trails and the chain came off and got trapped and that took half a day to get back and so much work lol.
This is so much different
How did I miss this ?
25:59 brought back mad memories of my first motorcycle trial on a ty175 in a Wrexham sand quarry in the 70's
ha paddling along, secret is keep the power on and don't fight it. i think đ¤

…really enjoyed that – thank you, Harry
Wow Harry, I am sitting at my desk in Chiang Mai watching the big screen and the only thing to grip was my mouse as you climbed those impossible looking dunes – thanks, including the bleeps – great fun! Time for a cuppa and toast to watch you finish this vid. I'm exhausted. Just turned on my indoors bike parking area and my hybrid Cagiva is still there!
42:22, I've never seen camels like those three dark ones before.
