Poor refereeing tbh. That was definitely a red card in the first half and that goal should not have been disallowed.
great game, but if 2 players were both fouling each other starting with the egyptian, then that beautiful curving goal should have been counted.
Very harsh that goal was ruled out from Guinea Bissau. But Egypt deserved the win. 3 times they hit the post was very unlucky.
More Salad the bum
Even the player didn't believe it was not an offside, football sometimes looks like this!
Hors jeu pour Salah. Très bon but pour la Guinée. Faut le dire.
Toujours la merde en Afrique
Congrats to Egypt. This was a hot game from both teams. That goal was a real goal for Guinea, or at least it’s a penalty since the the Egyptian was the first player to hold on the other player’s T-shirt
Egyptian goal was opposite and guinea b goal was clean goal but I wonder why this happened?
This was unfair
Referee was a sold out. That was a great goal.shame on referee.
That ref stole the game from Gnb
The goal is valid and what a wonderful goal from Guinea Bissau. The Referee must be fired from the competition.
wait I can’t believe this happened that’s a clean ball won that’s a goal..
A clean goal, and one of the best strikes of the tournament
Refereeing level is seriously below the quality of football teams and players are showing
Hope Salah didn't goto afcon with the "little tournament " mentality becoz he's had "little" impact so far
Guinea got robbed!! In daylight wtf!!
the unintelligent corruption is rampant with these officials, somebody get thus tournament some referees damn
Wow, Guinea Busie was robbed on this game, what a rubbish decision by the referees.
GNB was robbed!!
That goal was the best goal of the tournament, while the referee remains the most bias referee of all time. I wonder what kind of hatred he has towards Guinea-Bissau to make him find whatsoever reason to use and rob them of their best goal so far.
I swear every African nation cup tournament, there’s at least one new country name.
Dribbling and finish were beautiful no doubt. Initially I thought it should be a goal even though I’m Egyptian but if you look at their feet, it’s a clear foul!
This match has got to be fixed. Looks like some one paid off the officials here. No way Guinea B lose this game. That was a wonderful goal that was denied. This is why I believe that these tournaments are fixed in some way or the other. Pathetic officials🤬
That was a terrible and scandalous decision to overturn that goal. Someone needs to be held and accountable and let go.
As an Egyptian, we got lucky, guinea bissau deserved a tie, that goal should have counted. Pure strength but it was a fair play. It's OK, we admit this is one of our worst teams ever and it's a shame we didn't destory guineau bissau with all due respect to guineau bissau. We are Egypt.
Guinea Bissau seems like a very tough opponent, as a Nigerian I know it's gonna be a tough game facing them next but I think we've got it
FIFA up to their shenanigans, when two players are jostling for the ball and you dont call it then, dont review that play.
If the match was a tie then the Upright Post would have been MVP
That was the biggest BULLSHIT call
Honestly Egypt is just bad.
I don't think I am a fan of VR; we need some natural margin of human error. That was definitely a valid goal from GB.
Obviously most of the comments down here belong to people who aren't much familiar with the Soccer rules! The first yellow card was supposedly to be red, as there was no other defender between the fouled player and the goalkeeper; accordingly the book says that the offender should get a red card. Salah's goal was not offside; as Sangati played Salah on (player # 22 was covering Salah and closer to the goalkeeper). G.B.'s disallowed goal is beautiful and genius but as per the book, the ball was not in Balde's custody when he fouled the Egyptian's defender, in the same ball the Eg. defender (Kamal) was blocking Mama Balde which is allowed in soccer; Balde's mistake is pulling Kamal aggressively also obviously to the VAR; otherwise it would be counted; but rules are rules. Good game, very pleasant and good luck to all teams. G.B. got an enormous potential in African future soccer.
Bad this beautiful goal was disallowed.the defender started it….referee was bias on this one…
Terrible officiating.that goal should have counted.
Those saying it was not a foul, can you just not focus on the upper body and look at the leg. The GB player kicked the Egyptian defender which brought him down and that was how he got the upper hand. It's a clean foul. I also thought it was not a foul until I paid a closer attention
Guinea were the better side var is fucked up stolen goal they will prove it next game they are worth it
Guinea Bissau was robbed, this is crazy but Egypt know they can't win without their 12th player( referee ) super congratulations to Djurtus
(Wild Dogs) they are the real winners. God is fair. karma will do its job. At the end of the game, Carlos Queiroz Egyptian coach went inside Guinea Bissau Bus to congratulate the players for the great game they played Queiroz said to Guinea Bissau Player " you gave me a lot of headaches today and I know that if you play like this against Nigeria you can win the match " Egyptian coach really felt bad for the disallowed goal. that was awesome.
one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament
VAR officials in this tournament are the worst I have ever seen. How the hell is that a foul?
Spoiled the beauty of that goal!
Damn the the second goal
If you will argue the goal, you should argue the Red Card as well
It’s the Egyptian player who played foul first.
Even though I'm for Egypt as a Liverpool fan that was a real pity that such a great goal for GB was disallowed. Looked to me like the GB man just outmusculed the defender.
Guinea B robbed imo
Pure corruption. That was a fair 50/50 fight and a goal wtf
