Dude. Spot on.
I've listened to a massive amount of ambient music these last 2 years.
Thats amazing
I never experienced real anxiety until years of smoking weed caught up with me. Thinking about my body and life and getting deep in to my head became the norm after smoking up. I would constantly overfocus on myself and i constantly felt in danger. I finally had my first panic attack while driving after I realized my left arm started to turn to pins and needles. I had been taking deep breaths in and out for over 10 minutes and I felt my entire upper body experience the same pins and needles then my hands clamped up preventing me from dialing 911. I thought I was dying and the paramedic told me that's what happens when you hyperventilate.
I've been straight edge ever since. I can't imagine feeling like that again while sober. I hope anybody suffering from this without drugs or with them gets help.
same
So I have anxiety but sometimes i can't listen to ambient music because it's too "heavy." It triggers my anxiety sometimes and then even leads to sadness. Usually when I'm anxious I listen to lofi hip hop or jazz, it just sounds lighter and I can focus on the beats and rhythm. Can anyone else relate?
What is the music playing in this video? 🙂

I have always found emancipator to be a personal favorite. He has four albums out now and he always seems to put me at peace. Check out songs like black lake, Greenland, and ares
He does a good job of describing anxiety attacks.

pretty good taste dude. gas is god-tier ambient.
When I started to watch this video I was hoping for some relief from my own personal battle with anxiety and panic disorders. The thing is that ambient music actually tends to send me into a dreamy space where my anxiety and panic can take hold and spin out of control.
I would love to hear more about how the music has been able to help some of you out.
Take care guys and I hope that everyone is doing well.
So fucking awesome. I can relate soooo much. This is one of the reasons why I embarked on my journey of music. I actually started out making ambient tunes. Loved this.

state of mind is directly proportional to the music that is created inside a brain from anything that surrounds us.
Kirtan music helps too. Look up "Sadhu Sanga" videos on YouTube
Fuck this. Complaining about how you Can't get along in society is terrifying. Figure it out.
The anatomy of the dog at 1:50 gave me anxiety…
i make ambient music and sometimes it helps but unfortunately it doesn't make my panic attacks go away, though i do find solace in cocteau twins sometimes and that has ambient qualities, it is at the very least ethereal
I've always liked ambient music as a kid. Now that I'm older I understand why.
Amazing
What's crazy is with anxiety I have stumbled upon a love for soundtrack Instrumentation & Binaural beats. From the sound of it…They are definitely parallel to this genre so i'd say it's effective.

we're always one step behind him, he's Brian Eno
I was detected two years ago as a patient of epilepsy triggered by anxiety, and since then, I started exploring ambient music, and I can agree with everything explained in this video.
Really accurate and awesome.
Great video. Besides Eno, Windy & Carl really does it for me, especially "Consciousness".
