Hi Nix! New subscriber. I just got back from my 2nd business trip to Belgrade to meet my wonderful partners. As a Canadian (Montreal), I am looking to get a PR in the next year. Excited! Thank you for your wonderful work!
Dude, you still shop like a Canadian. It resembles my shopping hauls 😅 Love watching your videos. Thanks for feeding my nostalgia. ❤
I’m glad to hear how everything has been improving for you guys compared to a year ago. I’ve lived there for a year just recently, it was tough & that’s supposed to be my homeland! Lol so fun to explore though. All it does take is some time like you’ve said, love your content!
On the grocers market, there are always stands with toiletries. Prices at those stands tend to be significantly lower then prices of the same things at supermarkets. Try it out a bit, if you haven't already.
Nice video hello from Florida
Thank you so much for the grocery hauls! We visited Serbia last year and will be visiting again next month. I have to say my favorite thing about traveling is visiting the markets to see how regular people live and what they eat. On this trip, I am going to take advantage of those strange coffee pots in our Airbnbs to make Serbian style Turkish coffee. Now I just need to figure out which coffee to choose. There were so many!
Lidl bakery in Serbia it's like so much better than ones in Germany, Belgium or netheru
I go to class with your daughter lol
Can you do a video about what a person needs to bring to Serbia ( roughly) and what they DO NOT need to bring? That would be very helpful. It’s hard not knowing what is and isn’t available. Thank!
I have a bachelors degree, but dont work in my field. You spend half of my paycheck in a week on groceries. I wont lie I was shocked that you dont drink tap water, and even more shocked that you drink soft drinks. Everyone I know, keep telling me that the reason my kidneys are failing is because I drank too much Cola in my childhood.
As for the strawberries you are forgiven, there are more of us who crave them when it's not their season.
Did you lose weight???
Nix girl i love your channel, but dont you think you had enough unhealty food alredy in Canada?by some fruits, vegitables even meat or milk products on the farmers market.Dont by food by its looks but by its taste, and get rid of cola.Just a friendly advice
160k dinars + another 40k on meat lets say, u spend 200k dinars per month on groceries alone
O M F G
What you spent is actually normal for a winter month and based on your habits. If you want to save money, it is always better to buy meat from a local butcher, or simply order a whole pig from a farmer. Personally, I just buy everything when it's the season and put everything in the freezer… And I just buy 20 kg of strawberries in the summer and eat them for a month and in the winter I don't feel like eating them…When you said that you only drink Pepsi or Cola and no water, I wondered how you were still alive… My body couldn't handle it : )
Lidl ice cream makes me poop… feels like slime is going in and out of me… also to many preservatives in all the stuff… and im super sensitive to that… so if you can handle is ok, but i stay away from all the stuff at lidl… and only by vegetables… and the meat is Garbageeeeeee. But some stuff you can only find there… soooo 😅
As for the coke battle, my favorite is the Greek one.
You should go shop in new russian store called "Svetofor" the prizes are extremely low as we serbs would say "za džabe" (for free) like 5 times cheaper than in METRO…
So good to see you doing videos!! Yay! I am so glad you found those familiar things!
2 liter Pepsi bottle? 2 liter Coca Cola bottle?
Average teenager robot in Serbia: "What's to eat and give me some money."
ok, canadian dollars
41 000 can´t be 500 dollars, it´s less than 400, exactly 386.79 dollars
Median monthly salary in Serbia (after taxes and health care is paid) is around 100 000 dinars. Nix spends 40-50k in weakly shopping. It is bit on high end.
There is Metro there what
Kids gotta be kids!
OMG I didn't know you had a cat, it's so cute!
