Governor Wamatangi raises alarm over Ksh.10 billion theft
Former officials of Kiambu county are under investigation over alleged embezlement of 10 billion shillings. Kiambu county governor Kimani Wamatangi claimes that the money was siphoned through three companies contracted by the previous administration to collect revenue.

I think we should have an independent eacc for every single county independent of the national one and give them power to prosecute. This may not solve corruption but may end up exposing more rot.

Kiambu has been reduced to a sleeping economic giant for years by greedy selfish leaders. If run effectively it can be one of the richest in east and central Africa.
Kabogo nowadays spends most of his time in court cases. Unfortunately, he always gets away with it by simply using a small portion of the billions he stole to secretly give out a few bribes here and there. But Wamatangi probably knew about this theft for a while and it's only now that he brings it to light so as to try to draw attention away from him over the Tatu city scandal.
