  1. IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO GO OUT TO THAT NATIONAL CACTUS PARK OUT WEST YOU MAY BE TEMPTED TO SHAVE ONE OF THE WOLVES THERE. NO SHAME IN THAT. WE ALL WANT TO SHAVE A WOLF AT SOME POINT IN OUR LIVES. BUT IS IT REALLY NECESSARY? WOLVES CONSTANTLY SHED THEIR FUR. BUT STILL, IT'S BEEN A DREAM OF YOURS TO SHAVE A WOLF SINCE YOU WERE A CHILD. WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE. BUT THIS MAY BE THE GREATEST EXERCISE OF SELF CONTROL YOU'LL EVER HAVE. RESIST THE NEED AND JUST LET THE WOLVES BE. BUT WAIT! YOU CAN GO TO THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER AND ADOPT A DOG. THEN YOU CAN SHAVE THAT ONE! DOGS ARE IN THE SAME FAMILY AS WOLVES AND WON'T YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS BE IMPRESSED!

  2. You were very lucky in the place where you came from 🙂 Much more airy than other places. The trekking is spectacular. I was very lucky with the family that we observed the Silverback was very calm, unlike one of the females.

  3. Maaan, when I go in the woods I bring a hatchet as an absolute last resort against a bear or something – when you go in the forest in Uganda you need an AK-47 lol.

I can't believe you stand there and whispered into the camera as the alpha silverback growled right behind you. Serious balls.

These kinds of videos are really valuable. Thanks for sharing.

  4. You're wrong about one thing you said in this video. Gorilla troops do not only contain one silverback. Gorilla troops actually have 2-4 silverbacks altogether in their troop. There can only be one dominant silverback to lead the troop, but the dominant silverback will also have lieutenants to help keep the troop safe. Although all males have a silver back, only 40% of male silverbacks will become a dominant troop leader one day.

  5. What company did you use. This is my next Trek. I have been looking up companies over the last 2 years. I just got back from Trekking the Lost City in Santa Marta Colombia
