The dope tech hidden at a golf tournament is actually incredible.

  1. I guess you've watched the viral Bryson X Trump break 50 video then right? What did you think of that and is Trump talking smack about his golfing or is he actually walking the talk? (Hint: He's walking the talk 😜)

  2. So it looks like you were using a MBA but with touch screen, which isn’t a thing unless I missed it. So is that a MBA or another brand of laptop the looks like a MacBook Air? Or is this an interaction between the MBA and the Vision Pro? Headphone port on the left side, not a Mac. Asus Zen maybe. About the only golf I do is on my PS5 with Tiger Woods. This explains in detail how different views are available in real life. Very cool. Thanks

  3. As always, you make terrific interesting videos. I enjoy both playing and watching golf and you answered all my curiosity questions. I occasionally go to golf simulator that uses the Trackman and it really helps me with my practice routines. I didn’t know that is what they use on the tour for the broadcast. Thanks for making this.

  4. 2:56 – A camera, a trackman … and a wireless transmitter. Are you getting it? These are not three separate devices – this is one device! And we're calling it: iMan! …… wait……

  5. If this video interests anyone at all, I would highly encourage watching The Master's next April. They have sooo much technology invested into the viewing experience for people and it's amazing.

  6. Time to get one out for the America's Cup. Sailing probably harder to watch than golf for people to understand what is happening.. Highest level of tech in sailing will showcase at the America's Cup.

  7. I worked as a photographer at the 3M Open this past weekend and was amazed at the tech involved. I really don’t golf myself and had never been to a PGA event but it really got me more interested in it besides the actual play. Will definitely be watching more

  8. That's great, but the @pgatour app hasn't loaded on my iPhone (multiple models) in months. Actually, it's probably been more than a year since I last attended the Byron Nelson.

  9. One technology that I miss is the putting line. Aim Point Express grew out of this with players like Lydia Ko and Adam Scott using this method. Pretty cool math to be able to predict putting path.

  10. Hey Marqes. Has any TV show / channel contacted you about this episode? I'm not a golfer or a fan. But for what ever reason something will get me to watch a round. Well any way Carson Daly is mad about golf and grew up playing with Tiger. That has nothing to do with this. What do you think of contacting Carson Daly and pitch a Today show segment about the tech involved for golf. He might even know about it but I don't remember him talking about it. You have everything already you two could just repackage it for a story or two for the Today show.
