Love you guys, but not sure about this video. Donât think we want to be framing things as if a white, non-running Irish missionary was the sole reason Kenyans have become world class athletes. It all feels a bit neocolonial. Iâm sure that this man has and continues to do great work supporting and coaching top athletes, but the true credit lies with the runners themselves.
Bit white saviour complex, no?
