Everyone loves a cheeky monkey. Primates are fun and fascinating to watch. But there is a greater
draw – perhaps because they bring out the inner primate in us. Through Africa, South America and Asia, our wild cousins are far more diverse than you might think. Ever adaptable…

Go Ape – the fascinating world of Primates
Who doesn't love a cheeky monkey. They’re playful, smart and social. Personally, I think they’re the better humans. But that’s a whole different discussion. 4 million years ago our ancestors separated from the apes. 200,000 years ago, first distinctly human creatures evolved into the cultural and socially diverse set of humans we are now. But the “success” of evolution from monkey to humankind came and continues to come at a huge cost: Deforestation, poachers, hunters, overpopulation across the board, pushing these and other animals into ever smaller corners of their natural habitats.
We know of 425 species of primate – half are on the endangered list. A few dedicated and devoted people spend their lives saving our wild cousins. They do painstaking research, over years, and with specialized and specific knowledge – eating habits, social habits, mating habits and size of areas different societies need to roam, researchers are able to better lobby the powers that be to save the primates across the three continents.
A part of this ‘save the monkey’ effort are orphan rescue centers. One sees how they respond to human kindness; increasing their chances of survival. Humans and primates are living together, side by side. We aren’t that different and it can feel pretty good to unleash our own inner monkey.
The FASCINATING WORLD OF PRIMATES takes us to
Africa (the dense tropical forests across Central Africa)
South America (across the entire Amazon Region)
Asia (tropical forests – mainly)
Our wild cousins are far more diverse than you may think and are masters of survival. Good thing too. They need it.

After I started thinking of myself as a type of ape and thinking about everything as some kind of animal instinct, it's become a lot easier to understand certain things about humanity and it's also taught me that MANY humans refuse to acknowledge the fact that we are actually animals, apes, as well.
I'm 99.99999% sure I saw this exact documentary yesterday on another channel with a different script and narration. I'll have to compare them tomorrow. I wonder which is the original. Weird.
ninye loved this video
It'd be nice to see humans and at least one other species of primates coexisting together as people one day in the distant future. Let's try to make it happen before capitalism destroys the planet.
Why Say Kilograms Jus Say How Many Pounds Man Dang 🤣

Who else is high?!😂
I think the macaques want every baby they see.
They look like they have tighty-whiteys on.
LOL those gorillas went to great lengths to not get their feet wet in the stream
pushes evolution, yet no new men walk out of this jungle ever…
It was great watching untill he said how we evolved from primates. If we evolved from apes or chimpanzees , then how come the remaining apes and primates have not also evolved? Because we didn't evolve, we are the absolute same as God created us. Only difference there probably is that humans us were larger than we are today back then everything was larger including the animals and fish , birds we also lived longer back then because at those times everything was more pure ,clean there was even higher oxygen concentration back then as well. As much as i absolutely love watching documentaries and wildlife i have to turn it off when they start with millions and millions of years ago, and when we evolved from apes to humans. Because its such garbage and misleading. Do you think we have built a test and machine that can truly tell us if something is millions of years old? Yes we can test some things but not that far back , they have nothing to compare millions and millions of years ago the best we can do is 100's of years if we are lucky maybe in the 1000's but once again they have to actually have real data ( materials) to compare with.
here bcs im high
The background music is so loud that you can't hear the narrator.
Watching animals is fascinating , but the producers of these videos lie. On the other video , the gorilla is said to be interrupted by another male gorilla , while in these video its a leopard which , in turn is not in the same territory as the silver back and his 3 wives.
I don't really fw chimpanzees but gorillas are 💯
That's terrible! Those poor gorilla ladies getting slapped and yet there is no 911 she can call for help 😢
Proud to be a primate …..one of a kind but mischievous 🥹❤️
Banana
After watching many Nature videos; there is one common theme I've noticed,…… that we're related to Monkey's..Primates etc… Darwins false theory of Evolution… No recognition of the Creater, God, I AM,… We were born in the image of God….I don't think he's a monkey…lol
Very good ❤
They're so beautiful
Gay monkeys 😭😭😭😭
A LOT OF TIMES IT IS NOT MENTIONED, CHIMPS ARE IGNORANT, CRUEL CANABLES!!! WILL EVEN EAT THERE OWN YOUNG!!!
Please.. just stop,, we DIDN’T evolve from apes.. Just stop the nonsense
Seriously.. Where are the orangutans? They are the most intelligent primate
My hypothesis is that the African Apes were bred by ancient humans, who possessed much wisdom that we would find magical by today's comparison.
Something I never Understood is how those Japanese Macaques keep from freezing when they decide to get out of the hot tub. They would have to allow their fur to dry not to mention that their skin pores would have to be wide open.
Beautiful wildlife so happy to watch them 🥰😍
