@HamzaZakari-g4z

the real question is what is the Return On Investment for sponsoring students abroad when we have schools running same programs in Ghana? engaging in sexual exploits as an alternative to raising funds tells you clearly what benefit these students have to pay back the country. nobody should be paid by the government to study abroad.

😂😅 it's not new
It has always been happening check your archives , the government is always like that

@Crystal74-cy4xy

YOU BRAGAT PRESIDENT IS BROKE

@quo88

How much did he pay to get that scholarship… Did they tell Ghanaians how they got that scholarship…. Let the party boy & girls enjoy their suffering over there

@ltjusticekorang3955

so what course are they offering that cant be offered in Ghana? they should come home. Call your parents to pay the rest. You beneficiaries are ungrateful. None of you will return to contribute to Ghana's development.

@isaacsarfo6432

Ghana is actually sick with its policies! Let these students apply for scholarships to these foreign universities if they truly deem qualified. US / Canada and other universities are giving scholarships to thousands of Ghanaian students each year. Why would the government continue with these feudal practices if not for corruption and actually to less deserving students? Tyrone Marhguy of Achimota Brouhaha just went to UPENN on a full scholarship from UPENN. Most of these Government-sponsored students have the poorest grades.

If you have never been in this situation before, you would say whatever you wanna say. But the truth is the students are really going through it. And those saying they are lucky, you need to delete that Ghanaian myopic mentality of thinking that the Ghanaian government is doing them a favor. They are just enjoying part of the national cake. Ghanaian government should pay the students. This is just disgusting.

The practice of the Ghanaian government sponsoring students to study abroad, while we have universities locally, raises concerns, especially when many beneficiaries do not return to contribute to the country's development. Having experienced the scholarship interview process myself, it’s clear that it lacks competitiveness and seems to favor individuals connected to political circles. It’s not surprising, then, that there are ongoing issues with fee payments and accountability……Let them all come home

@Daakie9362

Hmmm I want to ask ooo , can’t their families back home also help 😢

@saynotoracism8613

Alhamdulilah thanks God for bringing as this far my son had a fully funded scholarship to study in the state…. Glory be your name and may our lord see you guys through 🙏

@ghplustv2554

Masa u ppl re even Lucky find out ur way n solve ur issue We are struggling more than u ppl nonsense

@josephamoabeng6824

But we have money for All African games and Campaign.Don't worry, vote for them , when they come to power they will pay all the money.

@bkxconsult

This is unfortunate, however you could recall that most of these students may not have genuinely obtained the scholarship from the secretariat, so why should extra financial burden be put on the government to cover that cost (reference to the Fourth Estate expose on scholarship bonanza). Let's stop tarnishing the image of Ghana this way.

Secondly, what was the outcome of the Fourth Estate expose; the media kept the public cliff hanging.

Thirdly, why should the government even sponsor studies outside the country considering the economic state of the country when such funds can be redirected to improve the educational infrastructure of our universities to serve the masses.This is displacement of resources.

@euniceofosuhemaa7110

This is so bad . I can’t imagine what they are going through 😢

@Nana_Buahen

What a DisGrace 😢.
Nana Addo didn't pass well at UG legon. He failed as a lawyer. When made a foreign affairs minister, he failed. Now we made him president to redeem his image and that of the busia-danquah cabal too, he failed miserably.
