How do you know it is a hate crime and not something very personal? Not saying it wasn't but a hate crime usually has some sort of evidence of a perpetrator saying something racial or being associated with something racial. As an African who loves my country very much, I don't understand why Africans want to make other countries their homes, why not just stay here in Africa.
