Kudus is the only one who can score
The worse part is Salis Amed was booked from the first half and he kept him on until 88 minute it's absolutely unacceptable. Why not take him off at half time because he was high risk for red. Take inaki and Jordan off after 70th minute for fresh attacking threat. This coach is strange. But ppl are saying he has experience thats what matters.
I have been very critical of the manager. Tonight I have to blame the players that made the mistakes. We looked far more threatening tonight. If somebody had said before the tournament we would draw with Egypt most of us would have accepted it.
All that noise and unfair criticism on Kudus and he puts out this beautiful performance. Too bad he was let down in the end. I enjoyed the amount of fight and intensity the players showed in the 1st 35 to 40 minutes, and with Salah getting injured and us being 1 up at the break it was looking good. But in the 2nd half Egypt got serious and we started to suffer, lost that same drive and concentration from the 1st half. Chris takes Ashimeru off and we struggle even more, then Inaki made that horrendous error while Denis Odoi was careless in getting to the ball. Kudus does his thing again and his teammates throw it away again. Very frustrating, a day of individual brilliance and individual brain farts. We have to beat Mozambique, no excuses.
Ghana needs to learn to play possession. Give the ball away too easily. Jordan Ayew is old and can't play a full 90 minutes. He doesn't have the legs. He is also selfish. In the second half instead of passing to an open teammate he dribbles and loses the ball multiple times. The team plays as individuals and not collectively

First of all I will say a very good well done to the coach for finally listening to us and choosing the actual first 11 of the black stars.
Second I want to tell the coach that he is stupid, infact very stupid because he doesn't have sense, I always keep on praying for him to realise how to rule the team as a coach but finally he showed me how stupid and a loser he is. As a coach you know we don't have a well built defence yet and you know the second half the Egyptians will come with all they have so you should also plan for them. The coach has just three chances to make in this first eleven to kill this match in the second half. He just needed to bring the sharp players up front to still control the game. Nuama, pinstil or bukari and then alidu to change Odoi.
This are just the chances he just needed to do at once to chance the game in the second half to still control the game but then he doesn't know the guys to bring in.
The second blame goes to Dennis Odoi. He is the reason why we conceded the two goals. He can't detect treat or danger, he allows the attacker to have chances.

Richard Ofori is not up to par. The Egyptian goals were due to defensive lapses. The Black Starts must stop the bad habit of back passes to the goalkeeper. The Stars played a lot better.
The clumsiness and lost of focus on the field is what always cost us and its like we help our opponents to beat us or equalize from the World Cup to this game Ghana must work on there focus we always look like we gonna win then fumble from clumsiness and lost of focus if we fix that we will be winning every match
Where are the goals?
Jordan did a good job today but Chris should have taken him out in the dying mins and bring in nuamah
When the game opened up, we needed nuamah in but we should now prepare for a die and die affair with Mozambique and we should play all our cards well!!
Chris shouldn’t play baba iddrisu again because he commits too much mistakes!
We should watch the tapes of Mozambique and map out a good tactics and strategies for them in our final match

i can't believe i actually wanted Bukari on 🤦♂. The players also don't pass to Inaki. He made decent runs but zero response.

Poor defending was at fault in this game. Cannot blame the manager here. Basic defensive acumen totally absent. Again, they scored from our own mistakes not from Egypt being better than is.
However, the Afcon 2024 is very revealing. African football has picked up. Ghana just another country with a past notable reputation. Now Ghana is average. There's Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Morocco, Ivory Coast and Egypt to all contend with. Not to mention even the likes of Cape Verde, DR Congo, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea and Namibia. Afcon now is of a high standard. This year's Ghana squad needs to pack its bags and return to Accra as I cannot see how they will escape this group now with just 1 point after two games.
The BS played better today however the defence looked too leaky. It's hard on the team especially Inaki committing a back pass error which caused the Egyptian equaliser and the second Egyptian goal also a terrible mistake by the defence…..all in all it was a great game between two familiar foes. Ghana could qualify as one of the best 3rd place team if they beat Mozambique on the final day of the group games.
