  1. Is this Benjamin newscaster ignorantly saying because the prize money is less than the budget, Ghanaians shouldn’t participate? Is sport between nations only about money? Do you know why after World War II an effort was made to have sport events between nations to foster trust and friendship? The peace that comes out of it is priceless.

Oh Ghana and its loud TV anchors and their petty politics shrouded in news.

  2. Since the European discovered Africa, nothing has change. We are still sold to them by our leaders and they still control Africa through the puppets.

  3. The corruption in our country starts from the two major parties and how their leaders are elected. Once the two parties systems allow aspirants to bribe and the highest bidder wins, corruption will never evade the system. Once an aspirant bribes, the aspirant will find every means possible to make their money back. Until we come up with a strong system that punishes candidates who bribes with prison sentences , we will be all talk no action.

  4. Ben, this is the character of this political tradition, they will protect any form of criminality..
..Recall even under Kuffour when David Amoateng was arrested, tried and convicted for the smuggling heroine into the US, his remaining term as an mp here in Ghana was kept intact whereas the most appropriate thing for the Kuffour's administration to do was to declare his seat vacant and organized a bye-election but that never was. He was in prison in the US while his seat jealously preserved, as his salaries and other emoluments were diligently paid into his account while serving his jail term.!! No conscience, no morality! That is the character of this tradition.. and the party members defended that to the hilt..
Perhaps, you may use this example for a future program..

  5. I like your data on AFCON budgets but the picture can be very clear if you can provide us data on budgets from 1992 because starting from 2012 seems limited details. Thanks

  6. I thought you were going to talk about the hypocrisy in society; extortion at the passport office unless you pay extra your passport will be delayed; its against the law to pick paying passengers on a motor bike but police look elsewhere; motor bikes drive in onto on coming traffic and no one says anything; we pay foe prepayed electricity but then the power is cut off; we are extorted with electricity tarrifs and unknown debts on meters; state housing company continues to defaud its cuatomers, hiayoricall and çurrent; schools charges students to view their own results – i have not even got to the dvla and the ports but my fingers are tired! But instead you are doing what you people always do : nonsense booklong stuff that makes not material difference!

  7. There is no mercy towards Ghana or the people by those leading the nation. The budget of the GFA for a struggling nation vs nations with a plan tells it all.

  8. You are just a biased and a political journalist. The slides you showed on corruption indicates clearly that npp has performed better than ndc on corruption. We dont have short memories wae.
