  1. What makes the law stringent? Can we compare this law to that of Nigeria, Uganda, that of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain etc? I didn't see death punishment in the Ghanaian law and so people must shhh…and stop making noise.? This law is about Ghana and protection of her cultural values and citizens

  2. The Ghana government is so brave they are so afraid of gay people who's name literally means happy that they feel they need to put them into prison.

It makes them sound weak to me.

  3. The Act can still become law without the President's accent. Our Constitution allows for the Parliament to do that. With the Parliament unanimously passing the bill, getting 60% to make it law is guaranteed. In Ghana, it will be political suicide to openly vote against the bill.

  4. I wish they could be this Determined to pass strict anti-corruption, graft, and good governance bills. That will at least help Ghana alleviate poverty and under development.

  5. Nonsense !!! The police officers that should enforce the bill are underpaid, the teachers that should teach sexual conduct and morality are underpaid, so many children suffer from malnutrition and don’t get warm meal at school. Yet fat wealthy politicians are worried what consenting adults are doing in their bedroom.
