“These cats” lol. You’re now using that dirty disrespectful slang calling human being cats. And yet, you’re complaining and crying that Ghanaian music and cultures aren’t being promoted.
If only these banku Republic would vest this much concern and energy over their failing economy as opposed to churning up all these numerous nonsensical music platforms crying day in day out, plotting and scheming about how to level up or better the Nigerians in the musical arena. Only in Africa do this madness exist. One country blows up in something, and another becomes envious and determined to get the same stardom. For centuries, Reggae Dancehall from Jamaica sailed all over the world, but not one time did we see or hear other islanders such as Trinidadians, Barbados, or any other Caribbean countries focus on how they must outdo the Jamaicans nor match their stardom. If 9ja no blow, I'm dam sure all these weyrey no go even care to know weda dem get music industry. I just so wish we cut all ties with these weyrey awon omor Banku ashiere pipo. Our artists gotta stop associating with dem pipo. We do not need dem for fucc sake. We gotta stop holding their hands to support dem, becos their sole objective is to outdo us in everything and anything.
Notice how they make up silly excuses, moving from one jaggon onto a next one and on and on. 1st was , talks about how our artists ain't putting theirs thru, to the lack of mainstream marketing plugs ( Def Jam , Sony etc,, ), population, and all what nots. What these weyrey can't understand, is that they don't have the organic sauce for music. They gotta sound 9ja or nothing. The 9ja sauce is the musical keynote for global African music success. Hate it or love.
Your conversations are always rich and deep. Love your show.
Our art industry as a whole is facing all these problems
No offense, but I have been saying, a lot of these Ghanaian entertainers are dull minded. They don’t know the fundamentals of the business structure. Can you imagine them being the representation of Africa? They have this ignorance mindset, thinking if you blow in Ghana, then you are known globally. That’s why they are referred to as LOCAL CHAMPIONS..
It's God favour and blessings upon Nigerian music please Ghana stop your jealousy, very soon kenya will become better than u guys
Please Ghana u guys should stop that nonsense Ghana and Nigeria music, just say Ghana music or Nigeria music,i don't understand meaning of Ghana and Nigeria music,u guys always try to attached yourself to Nigeria when it comes to achievement, can't u you people see other countries doing their thing
Ghanaians are anti intellectual. We hate data and science. No one will take you serious when you talk data. They will rather make fun of you
