#GhanaVsNaija

There has been this banter about the taste of food cooked by residents of two very close and mutual African countries, Nigeria and Ghana. The banter has been on for ages as no two countries is ever willing to accept defeat especially when it comes to Jollof Rice. Some people are of the opinion that Ghanaian food tastes better…

  1. Nigerians in Ghana study everything from Food to how we sleep . They prefer condemning what they like in Ghana , then turn to adopt it secretly later . They have a word in Urhobo called = WAYO PEOPLE !

  2. Gari Fotor is actually called Gari Jollof… It's not Eba please…
It's been there since the days of our ancestors…. It's actually Gari made in stew sometimes soups..
    It's originally Ghanaian food…
NB: we didn't create it just yesterday… It's been there since the oldies…
The Ghanaian girl needs to learn and research more on our foods and their origin

Ghana with their any how combination of food is awl, and watering soup that rush like a rain fall with very soft fufu and the face of the food is not fine Ghana food look like food for the gods lol anyway I love the Ghanaian food cause it is their food, abeg oh u Ghanaians shd not come for me ohh, I am not feeling fine kroaaa

  6. Well I’m from Kete – krachi and we eat pounded yam and it is pounded in a deeper mortar so it shows people don’t research and stay in Accra and assume that is all Ghana. We call it fufu yes in Ghana the fufu comes in different forms cassava, green plantain or yam.

  7. Just a little info to my Ghanaian sis. In northern Ghana, yam fufu is common whereas cassava fufu is popular in the south. The mortar for pounding the fufu is deeper in comparison to the one for pounding cassava fufu. Sometimes, you may need more than one person to do the pounding. Thanks for the video. It's educative and fun at the same time

  8. I once tasted yellow gari eba n egushie soup..Lord I threw up all day.The food looked colorful and appealing but the taste was eew..I’m not sure if it was the spices or what but there was a smell I couldn’t stand

  9. One is not better than the other me I just like good food period I don’t care if it’s Ghanaian or Nigerian. If the food is sweet then sweet finish. It also depends on who is preparing the food! So I say both for me because I’m Ghanaian and love our food but I have plenty of Nigerian friends who are good cooks and have prepared some nice food for me paaa! My stomach is open to everything food 🤣
