However, after the U.S. sanctioned the company for ridiculous reasons and banned Huawei from using Google apps, its smartphone sales dropped to around 28 million in 2019. Although Huawei phones are making a comeback, the lack of Google apps still negatively impacts the company’s overseas sales.
