  1. Germany and Israel has nothing to be worried about "genocide". Hamas has started the war in 2023. The war is on now and Hamas is hiding behind and amongst civilians – that's all.

  2. The UNRWA case is interesting, leaving aside for a moment the reality of how wrong it was to defund it, Germany is not obliged to fund UNRWA, yet, the negative act of choosing to defund it at a time when it was combatting famine is a real action taken with clearly recognisable consequences.

The immorality of Germany's position is pretty serious, as is that of other nations, particularly the US, who have behaved in a similar manner, though no one is worse than the US in that sense, given it actively supplies weapons used in the siege and has employed its veto to prevent international pressure.

Germany learned the wrong lesson from its own historic crimes. Instead of protecting human rights and preventing crimes against humanity irrespective as to the perpetrator or victim, it has chosen to dogmatically support one group no matter what they do, and irrespective as to the harm they cause, and have historically caused through their persistent violations of international humanitarian law across decades.

And it has proven, in the end, that merely being driven by the shame of the past is no guarantee that you will be driven to actually behave morally, or in keeping with the principles you claim to champion. No matter how fiercely one argues for those principles, only actions matter.

  3. The West is getting a taste of its own medicine, but the accusations are factual. The irony is that US accuses Nicaragua of genocide because in the present it is a different government, but does not reveal that the genocides committed in Latin America, Africa, and Asia during the Cold War were perpetrated by allies and proxies of US and Western Europe. This is always a typical accusation made against nations in which the previous governments were replaced by leftist or anti-Western nations and now they are being accused of those crimes because US is equating the country in which it was committed and the present government that is ruling the country, which is against US interests. The masses are only going to believe in what the Media says presently, but the true history, the true cause of it, is always repressed.
