Yesterday Human Settlements Minister Thembi Simelane announced the outcome of the investigation into the George building collapse.
Five officials from the National Home Builders Regulatory Council have been suspended.
Police will investigate these officials, along with developers from Neo Victoria Developments.

Look, I've heard word salads before, but this falls into the category of alphabet soup. You do NOT involve the "pippull" in such building construction, you contract the most seasoned, most experienced builders you can find, people who actually know what they're doing, to do the job properly.

Why isn't there direct media focus on the building owners, contractor and the engineer, the greedy white men who were criminally negligent in their short cuts? The people who died were poor black people. Every single time something like this happens, white people get off the hook. Yes, go after the corrupt officials but the public needs to see visible focus on these white perpetrators. Sick or the racism that still goes on.
