Geometric Power: I Will Walk to Prison Myself if There's Any Evidence of Foul Play Against Me- Amadi

When I was in NERC I was controversial for being fiercely independent. Allegations that I sabotaged Bart Nnaji’s Geometric Power Plant are smear campaigns. I challenge any Nigerian who can present any fact linking me with any fraud, or any misdirection aimed at benefiting anybody in my five years in office and I will voluntarily enter into…

What values does this counter arguments impacts on the sectors.

  3. So let’s take note. There are always men of integrity in leadership. But they need partnership of public willing to hold leaders to accountability to really flourish and thrive…. Am sure this man could have done even more. We need to create environment for people like Dr Sam Amadi to thrive and the corrupt ones to give up and get out. Kudos to whoever appointed him. Thanks Sir for your service. May God continue to bless you richly

  4. What I love is that they embraced their mistakes and learnt and got better and persevered. That’s the attitude that will get country developed. These things take time. Apply this to other areas.

  5. DR Sam was Chairman and CEO of NERC , Bart Nnanji was Minister of Power and still they cannot get the privatisation of Nigeria's Electricity right, and someone will tell me that Igbos will save Nigeria. This was in 2011 under GEJ when the Igbos dominated the government, yet the refineries and electricity never developed.

  6. I really cannot make any sense of all he said…
All i know is that he threw a challenge to anyone that questioned his integrity and also he talked about high tariffs…

Already, the project has been setup to exploit abarians!!!.. it will be a case of high endless tariff increment!! This is a monopoly. Who will be saddled with the responsibility of determining their operational costs? Will they allow for their operations to be audited and published? Etc…
The best answer is for me is for the government to allow for the entry of more companies to build and own power plants and equally allow same to distribute!!!

  7. This man is a bigot. He said the other time that all the aide HE PO has are igbos. But are Ndi Kato, Dele, Aisha, Kazure, Yinusa igbos? Please leave tribe alone and say another thing because there nothing to suggest PO is a bigot QED.

  8. I see nothing wrong in removing the Aba ring fence from EEDC scope. The power supply will not suffer 20 years delay if it was done. Public good should prevail over technicalities. That's where I disagree with Dr. Sam Amadi. Bath Nnaji and the entire endeavor suffered a great deal as a result

  9. I think what lingered the project to 20 years was the litigation cases between parties. If not 800 million is enough to build such project in 5 years…

  10. My concerns and questions regarding procurement are multifaceted. It's crucial to consider not only the bid amount but also the comprehensive plans and strategies for infrastructure improvement.

1.Was there adequate assessment of competence regarding operations and expansion by the other party involved in the power infrastructure phase?

2.What efforts have been made by the other party to enhance the procured power infrastructure?

3.Why was the initially awarded contract to Prof. Bath's team revoked in favor of a less competent businessman with insufficient justification?

This highlights the issue of transferring government assets to greedy profit-driven capitalists.

Kudos to Prof. Bath; had the original contract remained, he might have developed a power plant covering the entire SE region.

  11. Dr. Sam, Nice and Humane. What a Man. Had beautiful experience with Him when he was the CEO of NERC. Hope our Power Plant (ZENL 400MW, GFPP at Egbema, Imo State comes up on stream in no distant time. There are many of us willing to do good like Geometric just did. Nigeria, let us come together and build a legacy that will stand the test of time. This singular project has shown that intuitive development is not a rocket science. Kudos to everyone who ensured that this is made possible.

  12. We have gas wasting yet the citizens live with no electricity. This confirms it is possible to turn this sad state around, so i think is a deliberate pñan to put the citizens of Nigeria in perpetual darkness for profit and control

  13. Shame to all northern shameless unproductive politicians who for donkey years have not been able to fix the erratic power supply for just a small community.
It's really embarrassing to all unlookers to hear alhaji shetima mentioning alhaji tinubu in this case which would never have been dreamt of for life.
This project succeeded because no fulani/ hausa politician is involved from beginning to it's conclusion.
Congratulations to Dr. Alex Otti for this exemplary fruitful economic prompting investment to add to President Peter Obi's slogan " Productivity investment not consumption economic derogatory stance " Yes! pace is today set for economic fertilisation of our new NATION.

  14. Integrity is a beautiful thing and can not be bought. At the mention of Gani's name everything is making sense. The old saying of a good name is better than silver or Gold.

  15. Wonder why all these apc political bandits and murderers are doing here in aba. Look at rochas okorocha, shettima and other vampires that has been stealing nigeria dry. Shame on them. Tinubu shamelessly ran away from the inauguration.
