  1. Totally mad I missed the opportunity to make a "Order Lomé-ein To-go" joke in the food section. Oh well.
This was an episode I had to do on-location. Togo has something very unique happening right now, and (despite the incredibly frustrating bureaucratic registrations and getting arrested for flying a drone) I had such an amazing time and saw the huge potential this small country has to thrive. Plus I totally ran crossed the narrowest (Accessible) Salient in Africa. HUGE thanks to Gilles for everything!

  2. Thanks for knowing the craziness part of this country. Everything is controlled by the government. It's all dictatorship. No drone no binocular allowed 😂😂

  3. Unfortunate that the government is kinda cringe, Probably part of all the border and drone recording issues (And why you could get around them so easily).

Shoutout to Faure "I don't feel like a dictator" Gnassingbe on another constitutional rewrite.

  4. As an American, Togo seems fascinating and awesome to see Paul actually went there. Looks very nice!

Interesting how it's a French speaking country in Africa landlocked inbetween Ghana and Benin.

  5. Since I have done McDonalds togo multiple times, I like think of Togo's flag as french fries laid horizontally with a red hot small mocha at the canton saying I am loving it so heres the white star. I hope to remember this!

  6. First heard of this country watching cricket with my Dad, where they played against Australia.

Picked up an encyclopaedia to look at this country, the internet wasn't as pervasive yet.

    Interesting little country.
