  1. Ah. The KING of the Swahili coast. Very few places on earth compare to #Tanzania in so many ways. By the end of this episode, you'll be giving it a "TEN"-Zania. Ehehehe * (Explosion)
Thanks to all the Tanzanian Geograpeeps that helped with this one AND special guest star CHAKA for joining at the last minute to co-host this episode!

  2. Now i can comment 😊
I love the video. You guys have data, the great video ever with more informations about the country. Africa is beautiful indeed, Asante sana.

    Point of corrections
    1. Tanzanite minerals are found in Mirerani Manyara Region and not in Moshi.
    2. Gogo people had their fight with Germany, Trouble flared up north with the Chagga and in central Tanganyika with the Gogo, but two major prolonged wars challenged German rule for years. Maji Maji war with the main brunt borne by the Ngonis, this was a merciless rebellion and by far the bloodiest in Tanganyika, is southern part.

  3. Congrats for a great presentation.

    Tanzania national language is Kiswahili.
English is not, only just an alternative language for business and communication with foreigners.

English is national language for Kenya and Uganda.

Swahili is born in Coastal of East Africa due to Arab influence but was raised and maintained in Tanzania, and thanks to Nyerere not given colonial languages priority.

Tanzania took Swahili to global but never got credit for it.

Tanzania is the first country in the world to officiate Swahili as the national language.
Others countries in East Africa big numbers of their citizens can't speak Swahili at all such as Uganda, Congo, even Kenya.
Ugandans even speaking English among themselves and Kenyans as well.

Burundi and Rwanda at least big percentage are speaking Swahili, they're passionate of it.

  4. Tanzania 🇹🇿 My favourite African country… you go there, you never feel like a foreigner. Most respectful and friendliest people I know… I LOVE Tanzania 🇹🇿 All love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 living in the land down under 🇦🇺

  5. Dar es Salaam is not even the largest city. I'm a Tanzanian. I wonder to which extent Dar is the largest city. You better say it's the most populated one among the rest of the cities. Most bloggers have imitated what others have already said, although it might be wrong

  6. One of the best videos so far. As a Kenyan, Tanzania remains my favourite country followed by Uganda. Blessed country that one. Away from the wildlife and nature, the people are special. On social media, Tanzanians and Kenyans are not the biggest of friends. In reality, we are the same people divided by colonial borders.

  7. The word Zanzibar derives from Persian (language of Shirazis) word Zang (Black) and Bar (coast) meaning black coast, many regions in Iran have these words like Zangan..

  8. great video, you really do your research for these videos. a point of addition of the swahili language it also has a lot of words found in many bantu languages not just in Tanzania, so really there isnt even a country that can claim the language as its own. it has been a major factor for eradicating tribalism and promoting brotherhood in most of East African countries that speak it.

  9. As an American, Tanzania seems like such a beautiful country. Awesome that it inspired the geography of The Lion King with Kenya as well, I believe. The wildlife and nature there looks absolutely stunning. Love from the US!
