Geo Group Accused of Retaliating Against Detained Immigrants
Geo Group Inc. is being accused by the US government of violating federal labor law by retaliating against immigrant detainees who supported work stoppages.
The private-prison company subjected workers to punishments including solitary confinement because they protested their pay and working conditions and supported labor strikes in 2022, the National Labor Relations Board alleged in a Jan. 6 complaint.
