  1. It’s really not a generation thing. Everyone ages differently it’s really a lifestyle thing. The sun she’s you, smoking and drinking ages you, plastic surgery makes people look older if they get it when young.

  2. It isn’t true. Gen Z influencers are aging faster because they copy and do the same procedures. But they are a tiny minority. Ordinary real life kids look the same.

  3. It's all so silly. Gen Z is doing just fine. (I'm I guess a geriatric millennial who graduated high school in 2000). Last week we were all picking on tweens in Sephora, this week it's gen Z looking old, next week it's what? Millenials loving oat milk? I think this stuff is just mostly content creator driven. Hey, it's probably tough to come up with original content week after week.

  4. I haven't really noticed that Gen Z looks that old. I'm a 38 year old who looks especially young for his age… like people constantly guess I'm in my 20s, and after 9/11, the 2008 crash, etc… I spent most of my life drinking, partying, smoking, and never sleeping until I had my kid four years ago. Since then I've given up most of the fun stuff and now just never sleep. Of course, it could all be genetics, but if you guys really are looking "older for your age", the factors people are giving as reasons don't seem to have had much of a negative impact on me.

  5. i wonder if gen z "looks older" is just coming from the inexperience of the observer? that is to say… maybe the age range of the people around a person is really narrow? so people are not discerning age well?
hm … maybe i'll look that up after this video

lets also think about tha fact that people used to ask about boomers when they were in highschool " why do they look so old".
i wonder where the counter is, the " why did millennials look ( and act) so infantile for so long. now stuck in nostalgia"

  6. That Jordan dude lives with his parents. What could he possibly be so stressed out about? All of us are stressed, but living with your parents takes off a significant amount of that stress Lol. Also, how does he “look” like a father? You don’t need to be “old” to be a father nor look like one…does he look like one because he looks older than what he is? Oh Gen Z Gen Z smh….Lol.

  7. I'm in my 30s. I look younger than Gen Z. Many 18-21 year old girls get shocked when they ask my age saying they thought i was around their age. Meanwhile i get shocked they're that young! I need to check their Id😂 I'm not trying to have Fbi open up at my door

  8. I'm a millenial and I've always thought the obsession with looking young, as much as the fear of turning 30, to be absolutely ridiculous. This generational conflict between Gen Z and Millenials is also really dumb because we're not even that far apart from each other.

  9. Lemme tell you rn. Its because we are pissed off, stressed out, depressed or running entirely off of caffeine. There is nothing left for us. We are watching houses spike to the millions, jobs are only paying 40k a year, our home countries are focusing on the wrong priorities, we are watching the next gen after us utterly degrade, our distractions have been completely corporatized from movies to shows and games all being subscription modeled and completely deprived of value, none of us have money, all of us are prepped for civil war within the next 10-20 years, the idea of retirement is non-existent, everything and everyone is morally dead and nothing is serious anymore. Am I missing anything?

  10. baby millenials and the early gen Z are basically the same age as we just have 1 to 10 years apart, in Asia everyone look their age, but most westerner said that we look so young for our age, so i assume that because makeup, beard and fashion that made westerner gen z look older.

  11. Doesn't anybody stop to think about the fact that our food quality is worse? Our economy is harder? We lived through a global pandemic? We are isolated af which causes inflammation. Be so fr

  12. Your title should've been "Some Millenials and Gen Z won't shup up about it." I don't know a single Millenial that thinks they look younger than their Gen Z nephews or even kids.

As an early Millenial with an early Gen Z sibling, I can definitely see most Gen Z look perfectly fine for their age. People are not only comparing extremes, they also forget that celebs have set completely unrealistic aging standards, especially the older ones.
All these filtered pics of surgically altered celebrities has warped the expectation of ageing; especially for the younger generations.

Gen Z is mainly perceived to look older than they are because of various factors. They look fine to me.

  13. the best part about the the videos going "people don't believe when i say I'm x age" "no one believes i look x" "i don't look a day over x", is they actually do look that age, if not older, why can't you own up to how old you are instead of living in fantasy land? you look 30! you look almost 40! that's not the end of the world, you're not uglier for being that age!

  14. honestly for women it's make-up and for men it's beards/mustaches, take that away and they always look ten years younger. i really don't think it's that deep. styles and trends just change and some are more inherently aging than others. remember that whole business/casual chic look popular 10 years ago…i'm sure a lot of us look younger now than when we were going to clubs dressed like we were going to an office potluck

  15. I love this! Separately, as a younger millennial, I also remember people saying that girls my age (at the time) look older than they were, as an excuse for adults to pursue teens. I don't understand why older generations are enforcing harmful beauty standards onto the younger generations that already have enough pressure from scrolling through those standards. It's so gross.

  16. While us millennials in our 30s look like we are late teenage years to our early 20s. Im a good example of that when i shave my facial hair i look more like im like 19 to early 20s. Why good question 🤔. Well i dont see stress causing yall to rapidly look older. Cause if thats the case i should have been looking like an old man in my teens. Considering going through all the abuse and being molested multiple times and just treated like shit by my family and didnt have an escape from it cause even in school i was bullied and beat up on. But anyways had my mid life crisis when i was a kid. So i guess it might be because my childhood mind full of imagination never grew up i guess maybe thats why i still look young. Well i mean 30s is still young lol.

  17. Gen x here. You ask why is it wrong to look older when there is so much ageism coming from Gen Z and Y towards X and Boomers? Ageing isn't merely a look. It also involves politics that works both ways.

  18. Millenial here, I do in fact look younger that 4 of my Gen Z coworkers. I’m fucking 40 and they’re all 24-27.

    This is insane.

  19. It literally has nothing to even do with your actual natural appearance…we associate certain looks and styles with certain age groups and when younger groups wear it we think that they are apart of those older groups…just like the notion that our parents looked older than us when they were our age…it’s the style bro I’m telling yall

  20. It's styles, gen z girls use alot of contouring and that makes them look 30 but when they aren't wearing make up they look babyfaced. It's the whole obsession with getting rid of the babyfat in their cheeks, wether by make up or by buccal fat removal.
