  1. My prayer is that Kenya remains peaceful because the drumbeat of war is shrill. The western powers are disintegrating their democracies for something darker. The stalwart US democracy has all but collapsed under the authoritarian leadership of the GOP. Institutions which once called out trouble are being silenced via threat of sanctions . Western imperialism, racism and expansionist ideology that was the norm in the 19th and 20th has made a comeback. If Kenya goes to war with itself the likes of Chad and or Congo, her spoils will be the treasures of the expansionists. There is no one to call 'human rights violations' and or 'crimes against humanity' and in fact those terms are now deemed too 'woke.' Kenyans will be on their own watching the horror of their country tear at the spoils of war to become fodder for the west as has Palestine. Imagine living life as a refugee in a world now emboldened to erase black bodies from the face of the earth…
