I’m so surprised how all of a sudden these men and women who seat as senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have found the balls to discuss the issues pertinent to the Nigerian people, rather than act like rubber-stamp stooges. This took place during the confirmation of the well accomplished ladies nominated to head the ministry of foreign affairs and the ministry of industries. It made me proud watching them ask her questions very relevant to the development of the country. The new ministers minister must be very enthusiastic picking up the undeniable challenging task of serving the country. I have every confidence that they will deliver, if the system doesn’t frustrate their efforts. The two ladies and a few of f the other nominees should give hope to Nigerians. In fact, the process applied in the confirmation of this group of nominees makes the previous nominees a child’s play. Kudos to the president for the brilliant selection of these nominees.
