Renowned businessman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has shed light on the factors that led highlife sensation Flavour to hold his father's funeral in Enugu instead of their ancestral home in Anambra State.

In a heartfelt reflection shared on Instagram following his attendance at the funeral on Saturday, Cubana Chief Priest addressed the pressing issue of insecurity plaguing the South-East region. He called upon the people of the region to unite in tackling this critical challenge, emphasizing its gravity.

Expressing concern over the disruption caused by insecurity, Cubana Chief Priest emphasized the need for collective action and cooperation among the Igbo community to address the growing threat. He lamented the potential destruction of their homeland due to internal strife, cautioning against allowing marginalization to divide them further.

"This remarkable funeral was slated for Umunze, Anambra State, but circumstances have brought us to Enugu. It's time for us to come together, my people, and address this issue. We cannot afford to jeopardize our own interests due to external pressures.

"We must preserve our heritage by embracing our innate spirit of peace. Only through unity can we effectively confront the challenges we face. If we remain divided, we play into the hands of those seeking to destabilize us.

"Let us stand firm, for this is a battle we must win. Rest in peace, Papa Ijele, Igbo Pride, a beacon of African royalty. Flavour, the mighty eagle, remains steadfast in his resolve," Cubana Chief Priest urged.
