Sahrawi isn't a nation or different ethnicity, they are the same tribes present elsewhere in Morocco.

The problem was created by Algeria and Gaddafi in the cold war to prevent Morocco from establishing his pre Colonial borders.

I HATE the fact that this guy just favours separatist movements and wants to take away territory from nice stable countries and give them to stupid separatists. I, as a zambian, am very upset with what he did with barotseland, and what's worse is the fact he gave FAR TO MUCH land to barotseland. In fact. He gave NON barotse regions to that new abomination of a country. This guy really is an idiot when it comes to geopolitics.

I've been reading the comments and some debate between Basotho and South Africans has risen. They paint it to look like it's a one-way benefit for South Africa since it gets some water from Lesotho. But I want to add that most of the freight that goes to Lesotho is received at South African borders and transported on South African roads. Not to mention that Lesotho imports electricity from South Africa, about $40millionUSD every year. According to OEC over 70% of all imports going to Lesotho are from South Africa and it is not just confectionery goods, its medicine, fresh produce, meat and petrol just to list a few items. In 2022 Lesotho imported about $1,9B-usd and about $1,5B-usd was from South Africa. (admitting anecdotal experience into evidence) some people in Lesotho travel to South Africa just to give birth and then go back home, I do not know if it is a failure of the healthcare system (the HIV pandemic would point in that direction) or if it is for other reasons. So this would be far from a one-way benefit. Both countries are not perfect and joining hands would be more beneficial for both of them.

Hi, I am from South Africa and I have family in Lesotho. Culturally and politically I can see how it would be a problem to "annexe" Lesotho and Eswatini but the economic boost it would provide for all 3 countries is in my opinion, too big to give up. South Africa has good marketing and Lesotho and Eswatini have a lot of tourism that is not being fully exploited, their disconnection from the sea puts them at an economic disadvantage.
Yes, merging 3 countries is sure to present many political, cultural and social challenges, I believe that all 3 countries would benefit from this. Significant portions of Lesotho and Eswatini's population already lives in South Africa so might as well knockdown the borders.

Seems like your research was quite rushed about most of the border disputes, with no knowledge about the geopolitics in the continent, drawing borders like if you’re playing with colors on a blank canvas. The region of Western Sahara belongs and will forever belong to Morocco, it makes no sense to create a new entity there, especially that Algeria is heavily supporting the Polisario front just to counterbalance Morocco’s influence in North Africa but also to keep Morocco busy from claiming back it’s Eastern Sahara which nowadays belongs to Algeria thanks to the French annexation when both Morocco and Algeria were colonised by France. But on the other hand, you didn’t bother to merge some already existing countries with others which could lead to more problems. I support myself the territorial integrity of countries that existed even before the colonisation period, with the right to self determine in territories that were never an independent nation like Eritrea for instance.

    Half Eritrean-Half Ethiopian here!
-The Amhara of Ethiopia would never allow the balkanization of Ethiopia. They’re the reason the country became & stays united. One day I even envision a Unification of my two countries God wiling.
