This movie resonates deeply with me! Have a 12 year old son who’s dad left when I was 5 months pregnant and I’ve not seen him till date. Heard he’s moved on ; married with 3 other children. I’m not able to forgive him to the point that he’ll have access to my son because he’s vehemently refused to support my son. I’m still waiting for true love to find me so I can finally move on. I really cried watching this movie

I love the storyline. It is a lesson for so many. The word 'picnic' we as Blacks should never use that word. That word is a racist one. It means when 'they' pic a n****, 'they' would celebrate with food, dancing, and having a good ole time, while we were crying about our love one(s) being hanged.
