@MarioMaier

The audio quality of the video is very bad, the microphone is far too loud set therefore there is clipping.

@samp4050

Is it okay to add a few AI black outline illustrations to my other non AI illustrations in the same book or not? And please explain how to work out the spine size and how to include it in my cover. My coloring book is a 8.5 x 11 inches, with 80 pages. I see people doing the front and back covers on the same page but I don't know how they got to the double size page. 😊

@samp4050

Ive just recently started making my first coloring book on canva free one…but I don't know how to work out the spine size. Canva gives me 2 seperate pages to make the cover, so how do I put them together and add the spine? My book is a 8.5 x 11 inches, with 80 pages.

Thank you for such an insightful video!

@Mayukh.fov.

Thank you so much! I want to know is shopify free?

@michellearzu1265

If you are going the stock route, you need to buy the more expensive license. Read the Terms and Conditions of Use for images. The regular images can be use anywhere except to make merchandising. Basically, you cannot profit from using the image as is unless you pay more for it.

@annette-in-vegas

If we use the coloring pages from Shutterstock, would that be plagiarism in Amazon's eyes since the works are not original?

@SomjaiMeesuk-j5e

Thank you very much.

@snailart9214

I wouldn't want an AI coloring book either, I think it's dishonest to sell something using AI without disclosure. I think that's pretty sleezy.

@noli061

What kind of CatGpt ur using?

@LauraCarree-e1b

If you're looking for a tutorial how to create and publish, this is not it.

@antarart

I should hire myself….Unless you do it first!🤔🤔🤔 I think if you use stock images and "pre-designed" page layouts you are guaranteed to come up with a mediocre result. If you use AI you will come up with the typical "AI look"- ..And you couldn't copyright, either AI or stock images! Drawing yourself rules!!!

@ZJones760

I tried doing this using MidJouney and I found that the styles of the different images were not always the same. Doesn't the coloring book need to have the same style of graphics? How do you get the style to be very similar from one animal to another? Even the seed function did not help much.

@debbieharmon

My granddaughter would be my graphic designer

@artisanmulti

Thanks for giving us great content! 😁

@eddielatham6231

If you are an artist and can illustrate. how do you make the illustration ready for KDP ?

@AllThingsAnatomy

With the last tip, you do pay for Shopify to have the digital version on a website correct?

@Rum8146

You cite 3 color book producers as effectively the carrot to get into CBs, which serves your own viewership, talking about others’ content. You then go on top talk down the pro illustration/design route and seem to promote lazy and uncreative methods. My question is what is the approach of the 3 successful brands you talk about? Do they use stock imagery or are they are more inclined to invest in pro creative skills? This is not a snipe at your content, I’ve watched a few of your videos, I just worry that you show what is possible ($10k per month) but effectively talk your audience into the impossible…big money for little effort or investment. Clarity is important for all of us to avoid wasting time and effort, and in my opinion quality and distinction counts in a crowded market, both unavailable from stock imagery, lowest common dominator imagery (toddlers for example (though this is a questionable concept)) and what is currently an immature AI landscape.

@maitreya1906

When i started i did a coloring book on tabby cats, drawn myself, it was awesome but took me 6 months. Never sold

@sarajurovcik3491

Thank you for this information! Now I have to find out if I need to license my work, because I draw the pictures myself and if I publish my book I don’t want the content sold out from under me!

@EterNal-zu9il

how about images in pexels and pixybay? is this legit website for free, no copyright? what are your thoughts on this website?

@Napsareawesome721

If you draw your own images, how do you copyright them?

@GiGiAsmRArtandToy

I wonder why you don't make and sell them?????

@Lettertomanagement

If someone buys a digital coloring book, they can reprint it as many times as they want. Would they really be back to buy another digital copy? Would they recommend their friends buy it, or would they just print them a copy? The gain short term hurts long term sales.

@veronicaearle112

Could you perhaps do a video on how to sell your digital products like coloring books on Shopify and what you need to look out for, and how to make it copyright protected? Are there any other websites that you can use to sell your digital products?

@KatesColoring

Creating a book is quite easy and so much fun! Uploading becomes easy after learning how KDP works. Sales…well that's a different story. 🙂

@kaoline4172

You are simply amazing! The more I hear and see you, the more informed I am.

@iyoungblood

Please pray for me to get work. Thank you.

@legitdrops4178

thanks for sharing, how can contact you privately

@topzinstitute

Thanks for the tips😊

@markc121070

If you promote your website by putting your website info in your book, won't that be a problem for Amazon?

@45andSingle

How do you know how much money these books are making per month? Are these you book? Just curious because Amazon does not share that type of information.

@pruthirajdas443

please tell us step by step process how to create & publish it.

@AdeOgunde

This was the first video that explained the details needed to complete my book. I draw my own pictures due to replicas so, I'm m glad you mentioned DIY. Brava!

@curtbremner

Isn't the claim "Stress Relief" the language/claim that got some of your books in trouble with Amazon? I'm wondering why you would validate this publisher's use without consequence for his/her/their account?

@vikingfarmer3498

You mention the necessity of an image upscaler. Did you have any in mind? Thanks.

@brandonestelle9029

Thank you so much Caroline! Your tips are very helpful!

@joanl3115

Wonderful information! Thanks for sharing the various options! 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥

@TheAILab67

250th…Thanks !!! Better to create our own website. While Im creating a website for blockchain selling some products, I might consider adding coloring books on which buyers can download the PDF.

@benlime1235

When I hire a new illustrator, I always start off only paying for work that's been completed and submitted. I then usually swap to a pay per time model if they want that. For me, each book normally costs about £700-£900 for 26 high quality adult colouring pages plus the cover.

@mo3ad96

can you please make a tutorial about helium10 niche research?
Thanks

@KindaLikeWater

meh…

@LisasEbooks

Great content. Thank you.

@denisedeakins4828

Thanks Caroline, could be interesting to produce our own simple coloring images for KDP I'm not sure how we do this, get them onto our pages etc will see if there are any videos about it. Plus I was using Canva elements a fair bit for my books but there are several videos saying that we cannot really do that anymore so I was looking at maybe getting a subscription to C. Fabrica or similar. Apart from the issues that you mentioned with coloring pages is CF safe to use generally?

@cynthiadeg9206

Don’t all these books end up looking the same given they come from the same sources? Also, what do we put on the front matter?

@irinaengleza

Hi! I tried tiktok to promote my coloring books. Didn't work. Think twice before You publish your coloring book.

@petersongallery

Interesting … do you know of any actual sellers making money on selling pdf coloring books after the expense and time of setting up a website linking a store with those costs and actually getting customers that want to download and print out your book that they can get for under $10 bucks. ?? Sorry but it seems like it's a stretch … but I could be wrong 🙂 it has happened.

Great video, thank you! I have the same questions as another viewer. Amazon doesn't mind us mentioning that a digital version can be purchased on our own website? Seems like that might be a problem, i.e., taking their digital business away. Could you share a link where a seller has done this? Thank you!
