Even Japan , USA, China etc are still using textbooks together with computers.
Ghana has no internet,no electricity,I don't think is a good idea.
My fellow Ghanaians. All these guys know is making big speeches.
Criminals! What do they think they are doing? Confused thieves!
A country which doesn't have electricity, doesn't know anything about electronics, doesn't know anything about mechanics, doesn't have any communication network, that country doesn't even have enough any models and systems. No computerized education system with over whelming number of youth unemployment is manufacturing robotics.
Oh ok. That very good. Haven’t been bck in Ghana for a very long time .
But all the invention you are naming here sir , is all black invention on the planet, our brothers from the other side of the world,
Powerful presentation from our Education minister . Please don’t move from the Education ministry and help us transform this sector so that in the near future the country will have great thinkers. Kudos!
And while citing and copying from America why not make DATA free in all educational institutions just as MPS and their convoys enjoy from the national coffers?
solar energy to supplement our existing power supply? Having a tablet with dumsor will not make people put books down, if they want to learn and be successful.
Why not teach how to harness so
Give free WiFi on campuses
No wander USA,CANADA AND BRITON ARE RECRUITING TEACHERS FROM GHANA FIRST TIME IN MANKIND HISTORY
It's a step in the right direction. However, something must be done about teachers ' pay, who are the front runners.
These dont use their brainless, what they turn off electricity randomly how will they charge when it goes off
Which lights are they going to use mr president ?
Kudos to this government and it visionary leaders! This is not even in American schools! I'm proud to be a Ghanaian! The future is bright for the Ghanaian child, irrespective of their socioeconomic background!
I have heard that there's intense pressure on existing infrastructure, which in some cases can not be maintained on a regular basis. Old students, where possible, are the ones helping.
If the government doesn't have the money, which is always the case, seek innovative ways to fund shs.
It is not just about feeding or distributing laptops. Buildings crumble from overuse. Building new schools somewhere else is not a bad idea, but existing infrastructure needs attention.
Void programs. Free SHS didn't stand, and he has 7 months remaining, not 2 years.
Mr President you are the best Africa has ever seen and you are the best of the country leaders in history great leader great vision
With the power and internet outages?
Students will watch pornography and LGBTQ+ promotion on their tablets
His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, posterity would never forget you. You are leaving the presidential Seat with a legacy.
Besides that, going paperless is ok but why keep the white man's curriculum and the kids still have to chew and pour? Why not instill more productive educational pedagogies?
Buying them in from abroad is an opportunity for government officials to make deals with the sellers and the middlemen to make their commissions. $100 laptops are charged at $250 to the ministry of education because the minister has given the contract to his cousins and friends and they are skimming off the top to the tune of $150!! Its business and corruption!!!
Dr Adutwum is really a politician, eii Dr😂😂
