Strickland won in the sense that in a Tie, the champion just wins.
Can you imagine any other "cash cow" champion to lose a belt like that?
To go forth and to do damage are two different things, props to DDP for the stance of going forward, but the damage at the end pretty much summed the fight: DDP tried and tried , did some damage, but took more in the process. Thats a loss to me, look at both at the post fight. Stricklad was a problem for the UFC and for Dana, he is a loose cannon and to have him gone is damage control for dana and the UFC. It all ligned up and they took the dude's belt, but to me, in a close fight lifke that, the champ ALWAYS stays with the belt. If that went to the distance strickland would outgas him FOR SURE too. Too bad he ran his mouth too much and became a "not a problem, free speech bro" for Dana lol.

DDP won…get over it. He was the more dominant fighter of the night. I also thought that the first two rounds were closer, however, with the take-downs by DDP, he should have had both those rounds. No way was Strickland robbed, he got what he deserved.
