  1. Mr. Sadjin.
Historically, the so called Amharas had never been under one central rule. They were divided in war lords. It was Ras Gobena who in collaboration with king Minilik II consolidated the present Ethiopia under the kingdom of king of kings, Emperor Minilik. That was meant different kings came under one king, Minilik II.
Unfortunately, Ras Gobena was betrayed and died cold-blooded.

  2. One is a true Wolloye, and the other is just a shifta from Shewa. Fantahun holds more influence in Wollo than Meri Wodajo, and this is bound to create a major rift within Fano. The last time someone had more sway than Meri, he had them eliminated but I don’t think Fantahun will be such an easy target.

  3. Gen Werede stated he’ll investigate first and take action if indeed the alleged violation occurred.
Don’t make news based on allegation. Appears You are relying on biased sources

  5. The situation in Tigray seems to be deteriorating, with internal power struggles and lawlessness taking center stage. Instead of working toward stability and rebuilding after the devastating war, factions within the TDF and other groups appear to be prioritizing their own interests, sometimes through violence. The presence of contraband networks and illegal mining operations further complicates the situation, as these criminal elements benefit from disorder.

This is indeed a troubling development. If leaders fail to unite under a common vision for Tigray's future, the region risks prolonged instability. Do you think there’s any hope for reconciliation among the competing factions, or is the situation too far gone?

  6. * Oromos migrated up north into two ways. The Borana clan took Shewa, Wello, then Tigray path; and the Barentu clan took Welega, Gojam, then Eritrea path.
    * One might want to ask, why did oromos migrate to northern Ethiopia? As low land pastoralists, why did they choose northern highland Ethiopia as their final destination?
    Was there a pull factor?
Were there Axumites who migrated to Borana after their kingdom had ended? Gadda came from Borana. Abba is a title in the Gadda system as it is in Orthodox Christianity.😊 food for research.

  7. እታ ዲክታቶርሺፕ እያ ሐንቲ ተኽሊ ናይ ሐዘን እውን መክከራ.

    English:

Dictatorship is a plant of sorrow and suffering.

We must uproot it and break it

To save our beloved nation, Eritrea!

  8. Take action: Thousands of Eritrean prisoners remain in dire conditions.

In solidarity, observe a one-minute mourning noon on May 24, 2025, wherever you are.

Eritrea is not just a vast prison from which many are fleeing to become refugees—it holds even darker prisons within, where no one escapes. Among them are Sennait Debesai, Amanuel Asrat, Mahmoud Sheriffo. #Eritrea #HumanRights #FreeEritreanPrisoners

  9. It's sad, but increasingly, it looks like Ethiopia will be a failed state for the foreseeable future. It looks like we are back to the "time of princes" we had in the Middle Ages. Ethiopia is becoming the next Congo or Somalia where war lords and generals control some areas and endlessly fight each other.
