He isn't untrained, not a good fighter, but he has trained. It is clear that he was holding back. It seems to me that if he wanted to, he could have easily ended her. Also, I think if she had a better strategy, she could have handled it better, something like maintaining the distance while making fast blows to the stomach area

I give her some credit and don't know the situation. The dude is in decent shape, and my advice to her would have been for her to focus on a defensive battle. She did well when she hit the ground but it was apparent her attacks did little damage. If she asked this guy to spar to get better than that is cool. We just don't know why this fight happened. I have seen a lot of women who are the best in their training area, spar with dudes. Yes the guy was holding back but trust me even if you are a male fighting a dude that is bigger and stronger than you, he will hold back. When you are the bigger and stronger dude fighting say a smaller man, you don't want to kill that dude, so you try and scale accordingly.
