  1. I think Linda might have also died from AIDS, but his grandmother just didn’t want to admit it. A lot of times, especially back in the day, families often used euphemisms to say that a relative died from AIDS (so they wouldn’t be scorned by the community). Even saying that the person died from tuberculosis was better than saying that they died from AIDS. That’s how stigmatized it was.

  3. Even in 2006 corruption was rife. You could buy a legal drivers' licence from corrupt people working at the licensing department. Today the country is fast going down the toilet.

  4. This broke my heart. RIP Bonita, Linda and Shane…I was really hoping to see what kind of people they'd turn out to be. All that wisdom and awareness…sigh…that was painful.
