I think Linda might have also died from AIDS, but his grandmother just didn’t want to admit it. A lot of times, especially back in the day, families often used euphemisms to say that a relative died from AIDS (so they wouldn’t be scorned by the community). Even saying that the person died from tuberculosis was better than saying that they died from AIDS. That’s how stigmatized it was.
Excellent documentary. I was born in Cape Town. So this was awesome. Thank you!
The system which thrives on income inequality must be brought down

Bonita was definitely my favourite 🙏
Wow. I read the comments before I watched, my heart 💔😭
Even in 2006 corruption was rife. You could buy a legal drivers' licence from corrupt people working at the licensing department. Today the country is fast going down the toilet.
Heavy episode this. Lost hopes and shattered dreams.
The government needs to do more to end the poverty that lingers from Apartheid.
This made me cry😭 2018
the director and team behind this documentary has honors from me. Job well done.
1. R.I.P Bonita, Linda and Shane.
2. What happened to Tinnie, Tshepo and the 2 boys from Rondebosch (Patrick & Robert)?
Why are the 1st two episodes blocked?
Aids has devasted Africa. This documentary is very interesting. It shows that poverty is a very tough cycle to break.

"According to his grandmother:
Linda hurt his leg;
He lay down;
And on the third day, he died."
What happened to the boys from Rondebosch? And Tinnie?
My heart is heavy, sore and broken. Hence I pour it out to all three of you Bonita, Linda and Shane. I am so sad because I already felt a personal touch with each of the participants.
I think Bonita was short changed by life and all that died because of aids this made me sad!
Looking for Part One. Anyone know where to find it please ?
This broke my heart. RIP Bonita, Linda and Shane…I was really hoping to see what kind of people they'd turn out to be. All that wisdom and awareness…sigh…that was painful.
