FBI says New Orleans truck attacker travelled to Egypt, Canada in 2023

FBI investigators say radicalized former U.S. soldier Shamsud-Din Jabbar had travelled to Egypt and then Canada in the summer of 2023. Jabbar died in a shootout with police after ramming a crowd celebrating the new year on New Orleans’s famous Bourbon Street.
