Adrien Fourmaux has retired from Safari Rally Kenya only two stages into the rally! Despite his and co-driver Alex Coria’s best efforts, they couldn’t coax their Hyundai i20 N Rally1 back into life. Colin Clark was on the scene to follow the action and find out what went wrong.

I will say, as a person that fixes things for a living. I could watch drivers improvise repairs on their cars all day. I love that part of rally. The team work and marathon of these races. Best Motorsports in world. P.s. Fourmaux was trying to charge the battery with a Milwaukee M12 battery. He was shocking himself.

Definitely a case for drone delivery of parts and tools from pits to a stage or when simply traveling the public roads like this!
This is the coverage we need as we head to 2027 and they bring the concept cars back. Hopefully support in the USA will pickup then and we get some interesting stages here since there are some very interesting back roads all over the country! We have everything from deserts to tropical jungles, frozen tundras, city stages, and definitely lots of forest roads in the east and northwest.
