The lonliness most immigrant face abroad especially in the uk can make you consciously off yourself. But this seems suspicious. Violence i guess.

Naivety is part of ignorance, if somne you living with threaten to stab you,then lock you up in the room ,, the first thing you need to do is to call the police or the imagency lines

Was the man her boyfriend or house mate. Why did he threaten her and then locked her inside.

I think it's important for people in Diaspora remember that they shouldn't take threatening behaviour towards them lightly. It's important to report it to the police. Don't worry about what they will say about you or think.
