  1. Disclaimer – I admit I use stereotypes and generalisations to tell jokes. Southern India, has a rich history of dynasties and empires which were known for their military might – the Pandya, Chera and Chola dynasties ruled until the end of the 15th century. The Chalukya’s in the 6th – 9th century AD, The Rashtrakutas in the 7th – 9th century AD, Hoysalas in the 10th – 13th century AD and the mighty Vijayanagar Empire from the 14th – 16th century AD. None of these empires would have lasted had they not been strong militarily and strategically. Some like the Cholas, even undertook military campaigns across oceans including Sri Lanka, Maldives and Malaysia.

However, Southern Indian states (specifically Tamil Nadu) have been far less affected by raids, conquests and attempts to control them compared to what North and Western India (Gangetic belt) had to endure, and this includes the campaigns from Mughal dynasties and the India-Pakistan partition. So for the sake of the joke, I was attributing the stereotype that South Indians (Tamil people in this case) are laid back due to our significantly less violent recent history. Reality and History is far too complex to succinctly capture in a joke. But of course, I'll be mindful in the future.

  2. I get that this is just jokes and all but regarding that last point I think given how 1 in 4 men are raising kids that are not their own paternity testing needs to be compulsory before a father signs the birth certificate application.

  3. I am new to these kind of videos and I have nothing personal against anyone. But I just have a feeling that you have to keep laughing just to prove a point that this is a comedy show, whether you actually find it hilarious or not. It's just like the old TV comedy shows where the laughter is introduced in the background just to let you know where to laugh… These people will go out of business in some years as something new will be created as a replacement…
